The magical allure of the art form called music is its ability to capture our hearts, souls and minds, and entice us to experience a full range of emotions with one song. In only a few short notes, we may be filled with joy and happiness or melancholy and sadness. So inspired was I by the beautiful melodies of Tchaikovsky’s immortal masterpiece. “The Nutcracker”, that I put brush to canvas and began painting my vision of the Mouse King. With only my passion to guide me, I created this work to reflect my love and appreciation for this timeless piece of music.
