St. Nicholas (Signed and Numbered Canvas Transfer)

This portrait of St. Nicholas was what Brad conveyed to be a burst of inspiration just before the holidays. His mothers birthday was always on the St Nicks night or December 5th. Brad wanted to paint what he envisioned St. Nicholas to looked like for all those years growing up. Who was this saint who always helped the needy?

Did you know: St. Nicholas Born in Patara, a land that is part of present-day Turkey, circa 280, St. Nicholas was a Christian bishop who helped the needy. After his death, the legend of his gift-giving grew. St. Nicholas transformed into the legendary character called Santa Claus, who brings Christmas presents to children around the world.

This is a "Canvas Transfer" which looks like the original painting is on actual canvas and stretched over a wood frame like the original painting. It has an acrylic UV finished coating over it to preserve the surface of the piece and making it possible to wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth.

All ready to frame. No having to take it to a framer to have it custom framed as the canvas size is 8" x 10" which allows you to put in a ready-made frame from any number of retail store saving you a lot of money while giving you a wide selection of frames to pick from. No need for glass, mats or specially made frames.

Printed in the year 2000
