Theodore Roosevelt (Framed Original Pastel on Paper)

Bradley J. Parrish completed this piece in 1989.  It was done for the National Arts for the Parks competition of which Brad was a winner in previous years.  However, Brad did not submit this piece to the 1989 competition because he had already completed his piece titled "Another Day of Freedom" and had other works on the easels that he needed to finish.  His piece "Another Day of Freedom" did win that year and Brad put Theodore Rosevelt away in his metal flat files and completely forgot about the piece, he had also forgotten to sign it as well.  Brad while going through some of his originals this year looked in some very old folders and found this piece he loved so much safely stored in archival folders for almost 30 years ago.  Brad signed the piece this year and had the original piece for the first time in almost three decades on display to be seen by the public in Chicago at "The Chicago Art & Design Show.  He had the piece professionally framed in an elegant decorative hardwood frame and had museum glass placed over the image to protect it for generations to come.
